Hi! We’re Tegan and Karla, Preppamint founders and business owners who have always loved stationery!

Before Preppamint, we built MyClayCo, a business supplying clay tools to makers all over the world. It all started in 2020, in Tegan’s spare room with one 3D printer and a big idea. Blending Tegan’s 3D printing skills and business know-how, with Karla’s design and marketing skills, MyClayCo grew from a side hustle to a thriving business.

As it grew, so did the questions we received — not just about clay, but about pricing, packaging, marketing, planning, and running a small business. We realised other creatives were looking for guidance as well as tools.

That’s why we created Preppamint - a space to help small business owners feel supported and more organised. Preppamint isn’t about chasing someone else’s version of success. It’s about building a business that works for you, whether that means scaling big, finding lifestyle balance, or simply doing what you love sustainably.

We’ve made the mistakes, pulled the late nights, and battled imposter syndrome. Now we’re sharing the tools and lessons we wish we had at the start. We're not fancy business coaches or here to sell you get-rich-quick schemes. Think of us as your business besties!
